Bryophytes has no true root, stem and leaves while pteridophytes has true roots, stems and leaves.

 Bryophytes has no vascular tissue while pteridophytes has simple vascular tissue.

 In bryophytes, dominant generation is gametophyte while in pteridophytes, sporophyte generation is dominant. 

In bryophytes, sporophyte depends on gametophyte for water and nutrients while in pteridophytes, both gametophyte and sporophyte are independent to each other
