Hi do u guys hav any tips to memorise the scientific names??
What if you make a mind map with the phylums and classes. And don't forget to put its own specific name.. if you want to make it more interesting, draw that species... It will make it easier to remember...
For me, I’ll memorise animal in each classes but not its scientific name. Then only I’ll remember the scientific name for the animal and after that combine them. It works if u try to imagine the animals when only the classes are given by question.
Past the memo about the scientific name at your room that easy you look it everyday.
Make a small notes for the each kingdom & phylum . And try to do some an acronym for eah pyhlum to make it easy for memorize
You have to link that some scintific name has its own meaning based from the characteristics of an organism. This is also implied on how to remember some classes and phylum of an organism. For example, class cephalopoda for squid, in which cephalo means head and possibly means feet which shows that squid has feet on its head
